Restocking coarse fish

We take orders at anytime throughout the year, but the key time for moving coarse fish (particularly silver fish) is in the early Autumn, Winter and early Spring when water temperatures are low.  This ensures minimum stress to the fish.  Fish are netted out of the stock ponds and transferred to the fish holding facilities prior to sale.

All fish are hand graded, counted and inspected for quality control. Large orders are delivered in aerated transport tanks while smaller orders can be collected in oxygenated polythene bags to minimise transport costs. Our terms are strictly cash on delivery or payment by BACS.

All fisheries wishing to stock our fish must have a valid site permit in place. Before you can apply for a permit the water must be registered with CEFAS as the Environment Agency require your CEFAS Registration number to process your application.

CEFAS registration typically takes between 2 and 4 weeks, and begins with the application form attached below, please fill this in and send it to the address on the final page.

Once CEFAS registered, we recommend contacting the Environment Agency Fish Movement Team to apply for your permit, this process can also take 2 - 4 weeks so we suggest you do this as early as possible. fmapplications@environment-agency.gov.uk
